International day of yoga celebrated in the schools of winter zone of Pouni of District Reasi viz GMS Bimblia and GMS Sangar as per the guidelines of Nirmal Kumar Choudhary CEO Reasi and Gopal Krishan Komal ZEO Pouni.
Three days yoga camp for winter schools inaugurated by Sanjeev Kumar Sharma Master trainer Art Integrated Learning at MS Bamblia in presence of Anil Kumar Suri HM GMS Bamblia and all staff including VEC members.Students and teachers actively took part in the yoga activities beside memory enhancement yoga postures were also practiced by the students.
At the end of the day students performed pledge to adopt yoga on their lifestyles.
Students of the institutions also took part in poster making competition on the theme “Yoga for Life”.
CEO Reasi said such programs of cultural heritage and international recognition are vital for the overall development of personality of students for which Education department is striving hard to spread the message of international yoga awareness in far-flung areas of District Reasi with the help of volunteers like Sanjeev Kumar of Education Department so as to create an Awareness among students regarding various schemes of Government.
Prabh Dyal Bali ZEPO Pouni hailed the volunteerism of the officials of Education Department for initiating such innovations to promote yoga awareness in the far-flung and remotest areas of District Reasi.
The program was organized under the stewardship of Sanjeev Kumar Sharma and Madan Lal Incharge Complex Head MS Fargal on the directions of District Reasi Education Department.
