Reasi police achieved a major success in tightening the noose on the menace of drug abuse. Three drug peddlers were arrested recently in two different cases in a special Drive against the drug peddlers. A special team led by Dr Nikhil Gogna DySP Headquarters, Reasi alongwith Insp.
Ashwani sharma SHO Reasi succeeded in apprehending *Manish @ Munna S/o Prem Kumar R/o serward Teh. Katra in case FIR no. 192/2018* and *Ajay Singh s/o Varinder Singh R/o Vijaypur Reasi and Anchal singh S/o of Sher Singh R/o Bernaili Teh. Mahore Distt. Reasi in case FIR no. 194/2018* *U/S 8/22 NDPS Act*. and recovered contraband drug “Heroin” from their personal possession. In an another raid an accused in Rape case namely *Prem Singh S/o Amar singh R/o Gran Goswan Teh, Reasi* was also arrested.
The said accused was absconding since last six months after the commission of crime. The whole operation was done under the direct supervision of Addl SP Reasi, Sh. Shiv Kumar Chouhan and Smt. Nisha Nathyal SSP Reasi.
