Tehsil Information Centre, Basholi today organized a symposium on Environment conservation, here at Government Girls Middle School.
Principal JNV Basohli Suresh Shashtri was the chief guest, while Head Master Government Girls High School Suman Chander was the guest of honour.
Ten students of Government Girls High School Basohli, Government Girls Middle School Basohli and Model Middle School participated in the symposium and expressed their views on the topic.
The Chief Guest appreciated the efforts of Information Department for providing platform to the students to express their views on the Environment. He urged the department to organize more such programmes in future.
Mehak (class 6th ) of Govt. Girls Middle School Basohli, bagged first position, Gun Gun (class 7th ) of Govt Girls High School Basohli was declared second and Ritibha (class 7th ) of Govt. Girls Middle School Basohli was declared third.
Later, the chief guest gave away prizes to the winners and participants of symposium.
