Taranjit Singh Tony, DDC Member of Suchetgarh, reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to the upliftment of the downtrodden, promotion of social justice, and the overall development of the common masses.
Speaking at a significant meeting held at Village Khamb in RS Pura, Tony articulated his vision for the transformation of RS Pura South into a model constituency.
The DDC member emphasized the urgent need to address the issues faced by marginalized communities. “My primary objective is to ensure that the benefits of development reach every section of society, particularly those who have been historically disadvantaged,” he stated. “We must work together to build an inclusive society where every individual has equal opportunities and access to resources.”
Tony highlighted his comprehensive vision for RS Pura South constituency includes a multifaceted approach to development, focusing on improving infrastructure, healthcare, education, and economic opportunities. He underscored the importance of community participation in the development process, advocating for a collaborative approach where local voices are heard and respected.
“Our goal is to develop RS Pura South into a model constituency that sets an example for others to follow.
This requires a concerted effort from all stakeholders, including government agencies, local communities, and civil society organizations,” Tony remarked. “We will prioritize sustainable development practices that not only address current needs but also ensure a better future for coming generations.”
Raising serious concern over the rising drug addiction among youth, Tony assured the people that drug de-addiction centers will be opened across the RS Pura South constituency to combat this menace.
He also called for unity among the people to stand against anti-social elements intent on dividing communities for their ulterior motives.
“We must work together to build an inclusive society where every individual has equal opportunities and access to resources,” he urged.
Later, scores of youth including Davinder Kumar Panch of Village Khhamb, Ramesh Lal, Bishan Lal, Madan Lal and others joined the Congress Party.
Today’s meeting was organized by Dr. Rajesh Sharma, a youth leader and social worker, along with the local Ex-Panch of the village, witnessed a significant turnout of enthusiastic supporters.
