Ayurdiksha – Transitional Curriculum for the 01st year BAMS, Batch 2020-21 inaugural ceremony was organized today on 05/04/2021 at Conference Hall of Jammu Institute of Ayurveda and Research, Nardni Raipur, Bantalab Road, Jammu. Programme was started by addressing the gathering followed by invocation by the students of esteemed institute JIAR. Further proceeded by honouring the Chief Guest Dr. Gopesh Kumar Sharma, Research Officer (Regional Ayurveda Research Institute, Jammu) CCRAS, Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India.
Welcome speech was delivered by Dr. Sharada, Principal, JIAR. Programme was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by the dignitaries. An insight about college was addressed by Prof. Dr. Raghuvir Singh, Director Academics, JIAR. Further inaugural address was delivered by respected Chief Guest. He gave resourceful information regarding Upanayana Sanskara related to initiation of knowledge of Ayurveda.
He also gave information regarding carrier options in Ayurveda. Dr. Gopesh Kumar Sharma was falicitated by dignitaries, Chairperson Madam Smt. Suman Sharma, Managing Director(s) Mr. Ritesh Sharma and Mr. Ravish Sharma, CEO(s) Smt. Jaapna Sharma and Smt. Jasudha Sharma, Director Academics Dr. Raghuvir Singh, Principal Dr. Sharada Sharma, Vice Principal Dr. Nitin Mahajan, Professor Dr. Twinkle Gupta, Professor Dr. Sudesh Gupta, Professor Dr. Shailej Gupta.
Presidential address was delivered by the Chairperson Madam, Shri Sain Charitable Trust for higher education, Jammu, Smt. Suman Sharma.
The vote of thanks was proposed by the Professor, Department of PG Studies in Kayachikitsa, JIAR Dr. Twinkle Gupta. The inaugural ceremony was continued with the interactive session with parents and students.
