Bollywood actress Triptii Dimri recently addressed the criticism surrounding her dance number in the upcoming film Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video. Despite facing backlash for her dance moves in the song ‘Mere Mehboob’, the actress remains unfazed, viewing the experience as a valuable learning opportunity. In a candid interview with The Hollywood Reporter India, Dimri candidly discussed her approach to criticism and her determination to explore new horizons within her acting career. She emphasized that as an artist, she strives to constantly challenge herself and venture into uncharted territories. The dance number, she admitted, was a departure from her usual comfort zone, serving as a valuable lesson in the importance of versatility and continuous growth.“I said, ‘I have to try everything’. But one can’t be good at everything. But what’s wrong with trying? You have to give it your best; you’re here now. I didn’t realise (while shooting). It was my first dance number. I haven’t really done one like this before. And I didn’t think that it would get the kind of response that it’s getting. But it’s fine; it happens to everybody. There are things that people like, there are things that people don’t like. But that doesn’t mean that you stop experimenting,” she added. Triptii Dimri’s upcoming film, Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, marks her collaboration with the acclaimed actor Rajkummar Rao. Directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, the film is set to hit theatres on October 11.
