Triptii Dimri opened up about her deep connection to her Pahadi roots, offering a glimpse into the simple yet enriching experiences of her childhood in the Himalayan foothills.In a recent interview with Cosmo India, Triptii reflected on her upbringing and said, “We would be out playing all day, from six in the morning to 11 at night. I would play with the village kids, drink water straight from the stream, and watch my mother clean the house with geeli mitti (wet mud). I remember I would sit around and just take in the earthy smell, which is like when you mix wood and rain together, and sometimes, I would eat that too.”Triptii’s journey from the serene hills of Uttarakhand to the bustling film sets of Mumbai is a testament to her enduring connection to her roots. Despite the glitz and glamour of her profession, she remains anchored in the values and experiences that define her Pahadi heritage.
