JAMMU, Dec 21:
Jammu and Kashmir Tug of War Association, under the presidentship of Hardeep Singh Anand today named the contingent taking part in the 20th Sub Junior, 31th Junior Mix (men and women) and 16th Senior Federation Cup (men and women) National Championships to be held at Sholingur in Tamil Nadu from December 26 to December 30.
Working secretary, Jodh Singh Isher, joint secretary, Jasvir Singh were also part of the selection penal. The selected teams also underwent screening conducted by the J&K State Sports Council officials, Hazi Abdul Qayoom (CSO) and Ravi Singh Kumar (Divisional Officer) at Green Play Fields, here.
The Teams:
Sub Junior 500 kg mix (men and women): Chahat Mahajan, Deepika Sharma, Sneha Devi, Ritika Tandon ,Amrita Saini, Manpreet Singh, Peerzada Abhzar , Ranjot Singh, Peerzada Imran Inayat and Mintazir Muzafar.
Junior Men 520 kg mix (men and women): Tanisha Charak, Pavitra, Prachi Sharma, Dechen Choskith, Muskan Mehra, Vikalp, Sanchit, Faizan Altaf, Shubam Manzoor and Vishesh Choudhary. Federation Cup 560 kg mix (men and women): Vishali Sharma, Rajani , Aakankhsa, Arti , Kajal, Narinder Singh, Santok Raj, Shahnawz, Vikas and Farqam Ahmad Federation Cup 600 kg men: Abhi Choudhary, Bilal Ahmed, Parvaiz , Shakel Ahmed, Antriksh, Manzoor, Rahul, Nazakat, Govind and Ayaz ahmad.
Federation 640 kg men: Sukhvinder Singh, Aadil Hussain, Shivan Raina, Jashan Singh, Zahoor Gulzar, Mohd. Naseem, Shivam Sharma, Amjad Ali, Israr Ahma and Tawseef Ahmad.
