Vidya Balan’s ‘Tumhari Sulu’ is being reattempted in Tamil with Jyothika. The makers of the film have titled it ‘Kaattrin Mozhi’ after conducting a contest for fans to guess the name. The winners visit the set of the film and might even land a chance to meet Jyothika. ‘Kaattrin Mozhi’ will go on floors in June this year. Actor Vidhartha will step into Manav Kaul’s shoes and play Jyothika’s husband in the film.
Jyothika is also expected to start shooting for Mani Ratnam’s project titled ‘Chekka Chivantha Vaanam’ that boasts of a great ensemble cast – Simbu, Arvind Swamy, Arun Vijay, Vijay Sethupathi, Aditi Rao Hydari and Aishwarya Rajesh.
‘Tumhari Sulu’ revolved around a housewife who becomes a radio jockey by a stroke of luck and with some talent by her side. While her show becomes a hit, her domestic life takes a beating. Among the most successful Bollywood films of 2017, it won Vidya many accolades and awards.
