Union Minister of State for Steel, Faggan Singh Kulaste appreciated the young men and women of border district of Poonch for the spirit of sports.
Minister was quoted as saying during his stay in Poonch town in connection with inauguration of the newly constructed indoor complex at the Sports Stadium.
“Finding a good number of young boys and girls training in different sports disciplines inside the indoor complex and in the open fields of the Sports Stadium, Minister was highly appreciable of the spirit of sports among the youth of the remote district of Jammu Province,” disclosed Taekwondo coach and Physical Education Teacher (PET) of the Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS), Rajinder Singh.
Accompanied by the senior functionaries of the district administration, including District Development Commissioner (DDC), Rahul Yadav, SSP, Ramesh Angral and former MLC, Pardeep Sharma, Minister interacted with the young trainees, especially those practicing Taekwondo, Boxing and Badminton, and appreciated them for taking up sports in a big way.
