UNNAT NGO distributed shoes to the children of Government Girls Middle S chool, Bharda Kalan, Akhnoor. The program was presided over by Sh Sudarshan Abrol, President of Unnat NGO. The programme was organised by General Secretary, Neena Abrol of UNNAT. Speaking in the program, Sh Sudarshan Abrol, President of Unnat said that as an act of philanthropy, we have been doing different types of programs for the last one year.
He also said that we have been helping the poor children in every way, at some places we distributed sports equipment, at some places books and at some places we distributed articles required for daily use of school children, who are indigents and not within the approach of their hands, he added.
He further said that we also taught the children to make candles so that they can earn to support themselves and their families.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Anuradha, Treasurer of Unnat said that our NGO is imparting teaching to the children to learn their own work. On this occasion, Neena Abrol General Secretary Unnat said that NGO have been rendering help in many ways to poor children to boost them financially and morally.
Further she said that sports activities have a bigger role to divert the attention of youth and growing children from the malice of drug addiction. This is a small initiative towards this end, she said, reiterating that our NGO will continue such efforts for the help of poor children and hold several programmes in other schools located in areas where people are living below poverty line, she added.
The Headmaster of the school expressed his gratitude to the UNNAT NGO for this kindful gesture of helping needy school children.
