Unnat NGO today organized an embroidery workshop in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) Nardi, Akhnoor and taught the methods of making embroidery in different ways to female students. The program was presided over by Sh Sudarshan Kumar Abrol, President of Unnat NGO.
Addressing the staff and students, Sudarshan Kumar Abrol, President of Unnat NGO said that our NGO has been imparting training to youth for skill orientation and making different types of things for the last one year
He further informed that in the first year, our NGO taught children and other people to make candles inspiring them to start their own work, he said adding that it is a matter of immense satisfaction that some people have made candles and are sending them in the market to earn money.
General Secretary of Unnat, Neena Abrol said that today we got the opportunity to come to this school and taught children how to work for making embroidery in different ways. She further said that for the last one year our NGO has been getting full support from every school for this purpose.
She expressed her gratitude to school management for giving us the opportunity to impart skill development training to students, she added.
Among those executive members who were present on the occasion include Dr Anuradha (Treasurer), Sunita Muthoo, Kanchan Sharma, Preety Gupta, Lata Rani, Isha, Nidhi and others.
