Prof. R. D. Sharma, Vice Chancellor, University of Jammu today visited Govt. Degree College Doda. The Vice Chancellor was extended warm welcome by the Principal, staff and students of the college and also offered guard of Honor under the supervision of NCC Officer Prof. Babu Ram.
The visit was marked by a grand event and a lecture by the Vice Chancellor to the students of the college on the growing relevance of Moral values.
The Vice Chancellor also interacted with the students and staff of the college. During the interaction, the Vice Chancellor was apprised of all the issues being faced by the college. Prof. Sharma also responded to the various queries posed by the students during the interactions. On this occasion, the Principal of the College also gave a brief overview of the college.
The Vice Chancellor applauded the work and efforts of the principal, the faculty and the students and delivered a brainstorming lecture. The entire faculty of the college and students were present at the event. The college and the civil society hailed the maiden visit of Prof. R.D. Sharma as a glorious moment for the college.
Earlier, the welcome address was offered by the Principal of the college Dr. Shafqat Hussain Rafiqi, the programme was coordinated by Prof. Zain ul Abideen Banday, managed by Dr.Wahied Khawar Balwaan and vote of thanks was presented by Dr. Imtiaz Ahmed Bhallesi.
