With the number of coronavirus cases on the rise in India and globally, Vishal Khatri Sabha today distributed free face masks to the people at Fruit Mandi and Transport Nagar in times of pandemic. Speaking on the occasion, Vishal Khatri Sabha J&K President Devender Seth said that that they have decided to distribute free masks as they had seen that a lot of people were still moving around without masks, and not taking the threat of the coronavirus seriously.
This campaign aims to offer resources on proper mask-wearing and care practices in addition to advice from health leaders to better equip our nation with the information they need to keep themselves, their family, and their communities safe, added Seth.We encourage all people to continue social distancing, washing hands for at least 20 seconds, and most importantly, to wear a face covering when outside the home. Seth said that as Covid 19 cases are on rise these days, he appealed everyone to wear masks and spread awareness about coronavirus. He said that we are respectfully appealing to people to wear masks and follow the social distancing norms.
But there are few folks who are not following the rules and hence, it is important to take strict action against them.
He said that wearing masks is the safest way to prevent oneself as well as others from getting infected with Corona virus.Seth said that government has taken every possible step to handle the Covid situation with proper home isolation measures and enough Covid beds in hospitals. But, it’s important to not let the spread of the disease increase much. Hence, it’s important to follow the social distancing norms and wear masks until there is a reliable vaccine for Covid 19, maintained Seth.
