Vishal Rising Stars made it a 25 runs win against Bhatia Cricket Academy in the opening match of the 1st Patel memorial T20 (Under-16) Invitational Cup at Parade Ground, here today.
Batting first, Vishal Rising Stars made 148 runs for the loss of three wickets. Musaif (76) and Kamalpreet (51) hit fine half centuries. From bowling Side, Abhishek claimed three wickets while Gitansh took one.
In reply, Bhatia Cricket Academy exhausted their quota of 20 overs for 123 runs to lose the game by seven wickets. Abhishek 23, Rohit 22 and Mankin 12 were the main scorers. From Bowling Side Surya bagged three wicket to emerge as most successful bowler. Sachin took two and Praful bagged one wicket to become other successful bowlers. Musaif was later adjudged as man of the match.
Earlier, the event was declared open by Member State Human Rights Commission, Jung Bahadur Singh Jamwal in the presence of Vijay Sharma, R K Bhat (SSP), Rajesh Gill, Vivek Shekhar, Sachin Singh, Sudhir Singh, Rajesh Dhar, Ashish Sharma, Sanjay Sharma and Madan Mohan.
