JAMMU, MAY 22:
For second consecutive day the artists of Vomedh Rangmanch, the renowned theatre group of the state joined the #Hero4Tawi Campaign and also presented its latest short play (Nukkad Natak) Shrishti Maa in collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art Culture and Languages (JKAACL) near Radio Station Jammu, Panjthirthi in connection with the ongoing campaign of J&K Police Wives Welfare Association (PWWA) Hero4Tawi.
The artists and the group members lead by its Director Rohit Bhat joined the Swatch Bharat campaign and cleaned the road leading to bypass and also educated the nearby Jhuggi Jhonpri dwellers along with the Police officers and volunteers about the necessity of keeping environs clean and adopting a nature friendly attitude.
The senior members of the Vomedh group also joined the artists including senior journalist, social activist and artist King C Bharati, Vinay Pandita, Rahul Pandita, Bharti Koul and others.
Earlier the artists of Vomedh spread the message of clean and green environment through their aptly written Nukad Play ” Shristi Maa” written by Rakesh Roshan Bhat and Directed by Rajni Bhatti.
The play was well received by the vast audience that witnessed the live show and appreciated the artists as well as the message of the play.
Artists who played major roles in the play include Daisy Bazaz, Rajni Bhatti, Ramesh Ji, Ishu Bharati Pandit, Himagini Moza and others.
