Under the overall supervision of District Election Officer Jammu Sachin Kumar Vaishya IAS & Election Nodal Officers ADDC Jammu Sher Singh JKAS & ACD Jammu Vikas Sharma JKAS a mega Voter Awareness programme held at Govt HSS Akhnoor.
The programme was presided over by SDM Akhnoor Lek Raj JKAS in presence of Principal Musarrat Jabeen,BDO Chowki Choura Tasleem Wani,BDO Akhnoor Sushil Singh & BDO Bhalwal Brahmana Varinder Bawa.Voters Pledge was administered to all the participants and SDM Akhnoor encouraged all participants particularly first-time voters to actively participate in the democratic process in large numbers.
Later, a SVEEP rally was held in the main market Akhnoor ,where participants including officers motivated the general populace to cast their votes and ensure widespread electoral participation on 01 Oct 2024.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from Officers,officials of various Departments,Students & general populace as part of the ongoing Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation campaign to promote voter awareness.
