A Demonstration and Dharna was conducted on Wednesday Opp. Press club exhibition Ground Jammu under the leadership of Sh. Dev Raj Bali president of VRS union Jammu and in this demonstration it was strongly criticized the attitude of the State Administration and J&K SRTC management as these two are in connivance and bent upon to harass the VRS/GHS employees.
While addressing media persons, Bali stated that they are struggling for the last more than 8/ years and they are struggling for 50% balance payments of legitimate dues for cost of living allowance (COLA) arrears , bill of which comes to Rs. 16,76,49,497.00 and 6th pay commission Arrears and bonus @ 8.33% and are very strange that why balance dues are not being released whereas in all respects the bills are prepared and laying pending in the office of the finance Department civil secretariat , Jammu, Bali added.
