Medical Shop owner among three apprehended; 320 Intoxicant capsules recovered

Reports said that in its endeavors and commitment to make a drug free society, Jammu Police has once again achieved a success by recovering intoxicant capsules from Bishnah area. It has been seen as a dent on the ill aspirations of those involved in this illicit, unethical and antisocial trade. Acting on a reliable information, a Police party led by SHO Police Station Bishnah Inspector Rattan Singh Rana laid naka at Kundu near Kameshwar Mandir for checking of vehicles. During checking two unknown pedestrian coming towards naka from Bishnah town side on seeing police party thried to hide themselves in suspicious circumstances. The naka official chased and caught hold on them. During questioning they disclosed their identity namely Vishal S/o Kewal Krishan R/o Pasgal tehsil Bishnah and Surjeet Kumar S/o Kala Ram R/o Chak Avtra , Bishnah. During frisking 95 tramadol hydrochloride capsule IP recovered from the possession of Vishal S/o Kewal Krishan and 115 tramadol hydrochloride capsule IP were recovered from the possession of Surjeet Kumar S/o Kala Ram R/o Chak Avtara. During more questioning above mentioned persons revealed that they got the capsules from one Rajveev Sharma S/o Raja Ram Sharama R/o W.no. 09 Bishnah owner of medical Shop near Sub District Hospital Bishnah. On this police party along with Executive Magistrate 1st class Bishnah (Tehsildar) checked and search the medical shop and recovered 110 tramadol hydrochloride capsules IP from the shop which has been seized on spot. Police has registered a case FIR no.66/2019 U/s 8/21/22/29 NDPS Act against the arrested accused persons and started further investigation in this matter.
