Satyameva Jayate starring John Abraham in the lead is in talks ever since the film was announced. After treating the fans with action-packed trailer, the makers have now released the first song of the film.
The first song is titled as ‘Dilbar’, a recreated modern version of the iconic Dilbar song which was picturized on Sushmita Sen and Sanjay Kapoor in ‘Sirf Tum’. The song was an instant hit back then.
The recreated version of the song has an Arabic theme and it has been filmed on John Abraham along with actress Nora Fatehi and her breathtaking belly dancing. Ace singer Neha Kakkar and Dhvani Bhanusali have sung the song while Ikka has done Rap part for the song. The lyrics of the song have been penned by Shabbir Ahmed and Ikka. Tanishk Bagchi has scored the music. The new version of ’90s famous song Dilbar for Satyameva Jayate is finally out. The song, inspired by Sushmita Sen’s popular dance number, features Nora Fatehi and John Abraham. It has been recreated by Tanishk Bagchi and sung by Neha Kakkar, Dhvani and Alka Yagnik whose voice has been kept from the original composition.
Nikhil Advani, who is the producer on Satyameva Jayate, wanted Nora to choreograph her own belly dance moves as the model-actress is well-versed with the dance form. She has taken inspiration for her clothes and moves in the video from internationally renowned Turkish belly dancer, Didem.for Dilbar she was somebody I truly took inspiration from in putting together a well choreographed number”.

I really hope people like ‘Dilbar’ and shower their love as they did for the original composition. Nora Fatehi is stunning in the video and the video is looking incredible. After ‘Ishtehaar’, which was a sad song, I am glad I got a chance to sing a completely different tune.”
Satyameva Jayate also stars debutant Aisha Sharma, Manoj Bajpayee, and Amruta Khanvilkar and will hit the theatres on 15th August 2018. The film is directed by Milap Zaveri and is jointly produced by Tseries and Emmay Entertainment.
