Amit Kapoor, President of Parents Association Jammu, has slammed Jammu leaders for keeping silence on the looting by private schools and asked why do officials not raid private schools and books-uniform shops.
Amit Kapoor said this while addressing a press conference in Jammu. He said that the process of looting parents by private schools is continuing and the nexus of books and uniforms is also continuing but government officials are not taking any concrete steps against it despite having all the information about it.
He asked in a questioning tone that why are the officials turning a blind eye to this serious issue while they are aware of all this looting. He said that even as far as the School Education Department is concerned, its officials are also aware of the looting by private schools. He said that last year ADC Jammu raided some book shops but after that she also became silent. He said that the nexus of books and uniforms is continuing but for some unknown reason the officers are not able to take any action against them.
Along with this he also demanded that an order should be issued immediately regarding giving relaxation in age for enrolling children in class 1 so that one year of the children is saved.
