The World Pharmacist day celebrations concluded at SCIPMS with a series of impactful events. The theme for World Pharmacists Day 2024 is “Pharmacists: Meeting global health needs”. The theme featured a skit, pharmacist oath, and role of Pharmacist. This day aims to raise awareness about pharmacists’ contributions to international health through various campaigns and educational activities highlighting medication safety and patient care.
On this special occasion of *World Pharmacist Day, Principal (SCIPMS) would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all pharmacists who are the backbone of the healthcare system. This year’s theme, *“Pharmacists Strengthening Health Systems,” reminds us of the critical role pharmacists play in improving access to healthcare and ensuring the safe and effective use of medicines.
Pharmacists are not just dispensers of medication, but integral healthcare professionals who offer valuable advice, ensure the safety of treatments, and contribute to public health every day. In challenging times like these, especially during the global pandemic, pharmacists have shown immense courage, resilience, and dedication in serving communities.
Let us continue to work together, supporting and advancing our profession to deliver even better care. We take pride in being part of a profession that is vital to enhancing the well-being of society.
Akankasha Madhok, Principal of SCIPMS congratulated the students and faculty the successful organization of the event. She also expressed her appreciation to the Staff for the celebrations and commended the management for their continued support, especially Chairperson Suman Sharma and Dr. Nitin Mahajan, for encouraging such activities.
