Xiaomi to launch Redmi 6 Pro with display notch and Mi Pad 4 tablet on June 25

Chinese smartphone brand Xiaomi has announced that it will launch its Redmi 6 Pro and Mi Pad 4 Android tablet on June 25. The company is expected to launch several variants of the device including Redmi 6 and Redmi 6 Plus. The Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro will be the first Mi phone to feature an iPhone X-like display notch. It will also house a dual-lens rear camera setup at the back.

The Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro is expected to feature a 5.45-inch ‘notch’ display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels with an aspect ratio of 19:9 and could run MIUI 10 based on Android 8.0 Oreo operating system. The device will offer Xiaomi’s artificial intelligence features that were unveiled recently with new MIUI. The smartphone could be powered by a 2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor with different RAM and internal storage options. The device will support microSD cards along with fingerprint sensor at the back. The Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro will most likely be powered by a 4,000mAh battery. As far as the rear camera is concerned, the device is expected to offer a dual-lens camera setup at the back with a 12MP primary sensor.
