To intensify the ongoing struggle under recently launched programme “Save Future of Genext Kashmiri Pandits” Youth All India Kashmir Samaj (YAIKS), who is spearheading the survival issues of the community titled ” Survival First” held a massive protest rally today at Relief Commissioner’s Officer Canal road, Jammu under the young leadership of YAIKS President Pt. R.K. Bhat.
Pt. R.K. Bhat in his address to the protesters termed PM’s Return, Relief and Rehabilitation Package a total failure and cruel jock with displaced Pandits. He demanded PM’s Rehabilitation Package to be re-structured, re designed, re-looked and revised after having proper dialogue with YAIKS and its representatives. It was found that KPs are losing their identity very fast.
Even our intention to return to Valley is doubted ignoring that we are its aborigines and it is our Mother Land-AAKHIR KAB TAK? YAIKS has therefore resolved to fight menace of restoring our lost identity. We demand that another 3000 jobs may be sanctioned by the Govt in favour of “LEFT OVER CANDIDATES” who had applied under different Notifications in 2010, 2012, 2017 and so on and also for those Kashmir migrant families who couldn’t be benefitted under this PM’s employment scheme with this procedure of ‘One family one job” because all the displaced community families are equality suffering. One time compensation in favour of over aged youth of the community, who are the first victims of the migration and are unattended for the last three decades of displacement.
We demand removal of SC/ST/OBC /ALC categories, which are being kept reserved unnecessarily knowing that KPs are not falling under such categories.
