Striking a new chord in the overall development programme for the upcoming engineers, Computer Science & Engineering Department of Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology ( YCET ), Jammu organizes International E-Quiz Competition on “Computer Organization and Architecture” on 3rd Jan., 2021. The event was ordained to test the knowledge of young engineers in the field that expand beyond the scopes of their regular curriculum. The competition was a grand success and attracted large energetic participation of students. It is very encouraging that more than 350 students registered from different states and Union Territories of India and from abroad in this competition. Finally, 245 students appeared and 65 students scored more than 60 % marks. The students from YCET and from different colleges of J&K and all over India and abroad participated in this event. 61 students from YCET, 46 students from other colleges of J & K including 28 from Baba Ghulam Shah University, 2 from MIET, 7 from GCET, 9 from Government Polytechnic College For Women, Jammu, 7 students from Punjab, 65 students from Tamil Nadu, 1 student from New Delhi, 2 students from U.P., 6 from Haryana, 18 students from M.P., 2 students from Bihar, 3 from Chandigarh, 3 from Telangana and 25 from Karnataka participated. Also it included 5 students from Afghanistan and 1 from Bhutan. The platform used to conduct E-Quiz was Google Form. E-Certificates were provided to all the participants who scored more than 60% marks. Prof. ( Dr. ) A. K. Srivastava, Director, YCET, Er. Robin Kumar, Teacher Coordinator, Er. Dinesh Gupta, HoD ( CSE/IT ) encouraged and motivated the students. The Quiz was conducted by Er. Ayushi Gupta, Assistant Professor, CSE/IT Deptt. The Final Year students Mr. Vinit Sharma, Mr. Akshit Verma, Mr. Ritik Gupta, Ms. Purvai Gupta, Ms. Varuni of CSE Deptt. coordinated the event. The administration and staff of YCET remain in praises for the effort of the CSE/IT Department and all the participants.
