Sony Entertainment Television’s show Vighnaharta Ganesh has presented to the viewers many beautiful and insightful mythological stories time and again. In the ongoing track, well-known actor Lavina Tandon is seen essaying the role of ‘Mira Bai’ A dedicated devotee of Lord Krishna, Mira Bai worshipped him religiously and her world revolved around him.In the show, Lavina is seen dressed in a yellow saree, and accompanying her is the traditionally stringed instrument called the ‘Ektara.’ Elaborating on her look in the show, Lavina manages to keep it elegant and believes that simplicity is key.Talking about the simple yellow saree she wears in the show and the instrument, Lavina Tandon says, “Mira Bai was a true devotee of Lord Krishna, and her devotion towards him was always pure. I wanted that to reflect the same qualities in my attire as well. To bring out the character, I am seen in a yellow-colored saree donned with intricate flower jewelry. Further adding to the essence of the look, I also carry an instrument called ‘Ektara’ that Mira Bai used to play. I believe along with delivering dialogues, looks also play an instrumental role as they help bring out the best depiction of a character. Also, I feel blessed to be playing such an important role in a show like Vighnaharta Ganesh that is loved and viewed by so many.”
