Youth Congress hands over PPE to Kangrail Panchayat for distribution among cremation grounds workers

J&K Pradesh Youth Congress Committee (JKPYC) today distributed PPE kits among the representatives of Kangrail Panchayat for distribution of the same among the workers of cremation grounds in the wake of the second wave of Covid-19 pandemic.
The PPE kits were handed over by Sunny Jatt, AYC President Raipur Domana and Sourav Sharma Vice President AYC Raipur Domana to Sarpanch Dr Shallu Sharma in presence of Panch Parsotam Lal, Ravinder Sharma and Sanju Parveen. These kits were procured by Uday Bhanu Chib President JKPYC.
Speaking on the occasion, Sunny Jatt said that the workers at various cremation grounds across Jammu are least bothered about their life while offering the most significant services of cremating the dead bodies of COVID-19 victims. He appealed to the people to stay at home and observe all Covid SOPs and guidelines very strictly as this would go a long way in winning the crucial battle against the pandemic which has already taken a heavy toll of people across the nation.
Sarpanch Dr Shallu Sharma expressed gratitude to the Youth Congress for recognizing the services of workers of cremation grounds who are doing yeoman service for the welfare of humanity. She said that the Congress Party has always stood with the people in the hour of crisis.
Uday Bhanu Chib, in his message, lauded the workers of cremation grounds for their selfless contribution to the society amidst Covid pandemic. He said that they were involved in doing the pious act of cremating the dead bodies in the wake of the second wave of Covid-19 pandemic. He asserted that the distribution of the aforesaid kits would act as life saviours for the workers risking their lives in the ongoing pandemic.
