Yuva Rajput Sabha activists up in arms against Er. Rashid over his recent derogatory remaks on Late Maharaja Hari Singh Ji and whole Dogra community. While leading a massive protest today at Tawi Bridge near Maharaja Hari Singh statue. The protest was led by Surinder Singh Gilli, President, Yuva Rajput Sabha. Activists of Yuva Rajput Sabha gathered at Tawi Bridge and raised slogans against “Er. Rashid Hai Hai, Dagoran Ke Gurdaro Ko Goli Maro Salon Ko, Maharaja Hari Singh Ji Amar Rahey, Amar Rahey, Jammu Kashmir mai rehana hoga, Maharja Hari Singh Zindabad Khena hoga” and marched towards the Tawi Bridge and blocked the road more than one hour. After this YRS activists burnt the effigy of Er. Abdul Rashid and demanded immediately book Er. Rashid under the law.
Addressing the gathering, Surinder Singh Gilli said that YRS leaders already filled an written complaint against the Er. Rashid at Police station Domana, Jammu. Surinder Singh Gilli also came down heavily on the Er. Rashid and said such statements cannot be tolerated. He said that YRS taking serious cognizance of unlawful activities by Er. Rashid on Late Maharaja Hari Singh Ji in Kashmir few days back. He said that Er. Rashid is trying to hurt the sentiments of nationalist peoples of J&K and disturbed the peace, law and order and communal harmony.
“Every public representative has right to protest but his protest was a different. He was chanting slogans against late Maharaja Hari Singh Ji.
YRS couldn’t tolerate this,” Gilli Said.
Gilli demanded to the Hon’ble Governor of J&K to take serious concerned over this issue and take appropriate action against Er. Rashid.
