In a show of overwhelming support, senior BJP leader and contesting candidate for Jammu East, Yudhvir Sethi, today filed his nomination papers for the upcoming elections, accompanied by a massive rally that demonstrated the people’s backing for his candidacy.
Former Union Minister and MP Anurag Thakur, Member of Parliament Jugal Kishore Sharma, J&K BJP Working President Sat Sharma, former Minister Priya Sethi, BJP District President Parmodh Kapahi, and over 10,000 enthusiastic supporters were present during the event, making it a significant political moment in the city. The rally, which commenced from Panjtirthi, passed through various key markets of Jammu, culminating at the Town Hall where Yudhvir Sethi officially submitted his nomination papers. The vibrant procession highlighted the immense public support for Yudhvir Sethi, with people from all walks of life joining in, waving flags, and chanting slogans in his favor.
Addressing the media after the nomination process, former Union Minister Anurag Thakur praised the massive turnout, stating, “This rally is not just about filing nomination papers; it is a clear reflection of the people’s trust and faith in Yudhvir Sethi’s leadership and his vision for Jammu East. The overwhelming support seen today signifies that the people are ready for a transformative change under his leadership.”
Yudhvir Sethi, who has been a key figure in Jammu’s political landscape, expressed his gratitude to the people of Jammu East for their unwavering support. “The love and encouragement I have received from my constituency today further strengthens my resolve to work tirelessly for the development and prosperity of Jammu East.
