Yudhvir Sethi launched mass contact programme, apprises people of NDA programmes

Continuing with their post-poll mass contact programme to make people aware of welfare schemes launched by NDA government, Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders the day held a meeting at Bikram Chowk and apprised women folk about Jan Dhan Yojana and Laadli Beti Programme. BJP general secretary Yudhvir Sethi and former minister & Spokesperson BJP Priya Sethi besides senior party functionaries were present on the occassion.

Speaking on the occassion, Yudhvir Sethi said that entire credit of winning recently concluded general polls goes to party workers and those Karyakartas who relentlessly worked on ground and said that this victory should not bring us to halt. We need to be more vigorously working in future to ensure that assembly elections are also fought and won on same lines.

Yudhvir Sethi added that militancy in J&K State is on its last legs and a new era of peace and prosperity is going to begin here. He said that NDA led by Narendra Modi came to power with a promise to change the polity in India. Since his ascension to the prime minister’s post with a huge majority, Modi’s popularity has grown manifold. This he said we must use to strengthen nation and work for people’s welfare.

Speaking on the occassion Priya Sethi said programmes like pensions for farmers and workers, mudra Yojana, ladki beti, housing for all and swatch Bharat mission are some of the biggest ever people friendly scheme aimed at making people self reliant and India a vibrant nation.

Priya Sethi added that prime minister Narendra Modi has brought in initiatives to eliminate the socio-economic backwardness of citizens, which had been undermined or played down by governments in the past. She added that NDA 2.0 is going to be more vibrant and we all as workers must ensure that programmes and policies of union government are launched effectively and their benefits reach deserving beneficiaries without any pilfriage.
