Yudhvir Sethi urges govt to rehabilitate affected shopkeepers at bus stand immediately

Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) General Secretary Yudhvir Sethi today led a delegation of shopkeepers of bus stand area to meet Divisional Commissioner Jammu and sought redressal of their grievances. He sought permanent shops for those businessmen who were uprooted because of construction of multi-storied parking at general bus stand.
While interacting with Divisional Commissioner, Yudhvir Sethi said the government while demolishing shops of these traders had promised that once the construction of new multi-storied complex is completed shops will be allotted to these affected people. The shopkeepers while pleading their case also said that they are facing hardships in absence of their workplace.
The divisional commissioner assured the deputation that since complex is almost ready and shops have been constructed the same will be allotted to affected shopkeepers immediately after consultation with concerned department.
Yudhvir Sethi said that roads and other infrastructure around complex should also be built immediately so that shopkeepers can do their business at ease. He also sought complete development of area is that local traders and commuters don’t feel any other inconvenience.
