Yuva Rajput Sabha appeals to the people of Jammu to make Maharaja’s birthday celebration a grand show of unity among Dogras, irrespective of caste, religion and political affiliation. While addressing a Press conference on Friday, Yuva Rajput Sabha President Rajveer Singh extended an open invitation to all Dogras for their participation in the scheduled Maha rally on Sept 23. Yuva Rajput Sabha will take out a grand rally from Ban Talab, which shall pass through Janipur, New Plot, Ambhalla, Old City and then culminate near the Maharaj’s statue at Mandir Masjid Point on Tawi bank,” he informed.
Rajveer singh appealed people from all communities to participate in the said rally in a big way for giving a strong message to the entire world that entire Dogra Population is one for their Maharaja, who is revered as a god because of his great services to the State of Jammu and Kashmir.
Highlighting the achievements of Maharaja Hari Singh as erstwhile ruler of the State, Rajveer Singh particularly reminded that it was only because of the Maharaja, who signed the Instrument of Accession, that Jammu Kashmir is an integral part of India. “Every nationalist is proud of our Maharaja, who is a symbol of patriotism and unity of Dogras.
Rajveer Singh also warned Government that the Yuva Rajput Sabha will further intensify its agitational programme after Sept 23 till the Government announced State holiday on birth anniversary of Maharaja Hari Singh.
