Zorawar flags off 7th Annual Baadi Chandi Yatra from R S Pura to Bani

JAMMU, MAY 13:
Chairman Team Jammu, Zorawar Singh Jamwal today flagged off 7th Annual Holy Baadi Chandi Yatra from R S Pura to Bani bellt of Kathua district.
The holy mace of the goddess Chandi will reach at Bani Temple on May 14.
Zorawar Singh Jamwal, Chairman Team Jammu who was the Chief guest on the ocassion, while flagging off the yatra that comprised of men, women and children said “the participation of youth in relgious activities helps them in inculcating nationalist approach as no relgion preaches hate.
Besides, such activities also help them in utilizing their energy in a positive manner.”
In his address, Zorawar Singh Jamwal called upon women to motivate their wards to do take part in religious activities besides focussing in education as such programs also motivate them to stay away from anti-social activities like drug abuse. “Any person who is religious can not even think of even testing drugs and instead he/she can further play important role in helping and reforming those who hav become addicts,” said Zorawar Singh Jamwal and calling upon one and all to get united in fighting this social evil which is spoiling the younger generation.
The Yatra has been organised by Pandit Pankaj Khajuria with the help of Shiv Dham Committee Kotli Shah Daula, R S Pura. The other main organising members of the committe included Suraj Parkash, Pandit Parveen Shastri and Pandit Ravi Shastri.
On the occasion, The Shiv Dham Comittee and Pandit Pankaj Khajuria also felicitated Zorawar Singh Jamwal and Pt. Sita Ram Shastri ji.
A langer was also orgainsed at Kotli Shah Daula Temple for the devotees. The function was co-ordinated by Pandit Dakhseesh Maharaj along with Shiv Dham Committe. Hundreds of people participated during the occasion and took blessings of goddess Chandi jyoti. People welcoming the holy yatra at diffrent places. Others who are present Shail khajuria, Sunny Rajput, Vishal Sharma, Abinandan Sharma, Rampaul, Akshay Kumar, Anshu Choudhary, Satpal Sharma and Parveen Sharma.
