LG, CM condoles loss of lives in Reasi

Reasi, SEP 14:
At least two people were killed and several others sustained injuries after a matador met with an accident near Bakkal Tunnel in Reasi district on Monday morning.
Officials told that the matador bearing registration number JK14B-2973 was on its way from Bakkal towards Reasi when it overturned on the road. The tyre burst is said to be the reason behind the accident.
Two persons died on the spot while several others were injured in the mishap. Soon after the accident, locals and police rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident.
Meanwhile, Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha has expressed grief over the tragic road accident in Reasi, today.
In a condolence message, the Lieutenant Governor said: “Deeply pained to learn about the loss of precious lives in a tragic road accident in Reasi. My deepest condolences to the bereaved families. Praying for speedy recovery of the injured.”
