JAMMU, SEPT 30:
The Directorate of Agriculture Jammu today bid a warm and affectionate farewell to Joint Director (Extension) Jammu Idrees Bashir Ahmed, Agriculture Information Officer (FTC) Guldev Raj and Helper (Development Section) Dev Raj, who superannuated today after rendering over 35 years of dedicated service to the department.
A formal farewell function was organized at the Auditorium, Kisan Kendra, Talab Tillo to honour the retiring employees for their valuable contributions to the functioning of the department and the welfare of the farming community.
Director Agriculture Production & Farmers Welfare Jammu Anil Gupta, along with Joint Director Agriculture (SLUB/Farms) Aman Jyoti Sharma and Deputy Director Agriculture (Central), Jammu Sanjeev Rai Gupta besides sectoral heads and senior officers, graced the occasion and extended their best wishes to the retirees.
Officers and staff from Directorate of Agriculture, Joint Director Extension office, Farmers Training Centre Jammu and various districts of Jammu Division also joined the occasion and extended their warm wishes to the retiring employees, appreciating their long-standing service and dedication. As a mark of respect and recognition, mementoes were presented to the retirees on behalf of the department.
The programme concluded with farewell addresses, sharing of experiences and expressions of gratitude, as officers and staff wished the retirees a peaceful, healthy and fulfilling life ahead.
