DC reviews implementation of HADP, other credit-linked schemes in Udhampur

UDHAMPUR, JUNE 23:
Deputy Commissioner Minga Sherpa today chaired a review meeting to assess the implementation and progress of the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme, JKCIP, PM-Kisan, KCC and other agriculture credit-linked schemes in the district.
At the outset, the Chief Agriculture Officer presented a comprehensive overview of the department’s performance, highlighting the implementation status of the schemes, establishment and tracking of units, financial utilisation, registration of Kisan Khidmat Ghars, credit flow under HADP, including applications received and sanctioned, issuance of Soil Health Cards and the status of JKCIP applications in terms of coverage and approvals.
While reviewing the progress, the Deputy Commissioner directed the stakeholder departments and banking institutions to maximize outreach to enable every eligible farmer and farming family to benefit from these flagship schemes. He further instructed the departments to adopt a proactive and coordinated approach to expedite the sanctioning of pending applications under HADP.
Emphasising the importance of inter-departmental coordination, the DC said that seamless implementation and collective efforts are essential for achieving tangible and sustainable outcomes on the ground.
He directed the officers to ensure that all schemes are implemented in a transparent and time-bound manner so that eligible beneficiaries receive the intended benefits without any delay.
