Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Ananth Dwivedi today chaired a meeting to review the implementation of apex court directions on the stray Dog management.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Prem Singh; Chief Planning Officer, Uttam Singh; Chief Executive Officer Municipal Council and other concerned officers. The Deputy Commissioner undertook a detailed review of the existing infrastructure, availability of essential equipment and arrangements for anti-rabies vaccination drive. He directed the concerned officers to make available requisite infrastructure, equipment and other necessary arrangements strictly in accordance with the prescribed norms and guidelines. Emphasising the importance of coordinated efforts, the DC directed to ensure strict compliance with the directions and effective implementation of the Animal Birth Control Programme across the district.
