The Directorate of Social Welfare, Jammu, organised a two-day training programme on the new Pension Portal, with a primary focus on addressing technical issues arising during the migration of beneficiary data from the old portal to the new system.
The training programme was chaired by the Director, Social Welfare Jammu Ranjeet Singh.
During the two-day programme, officials from ten districts discussed the technical difficulties and operational issues encountered while using the portal.
The National Informatics Centre (NIC) representative provided technical guidance and assistance in resolving these issues.
The Director emphasised the importance of ensuring accurate data migration, effective scrutiny and timely resolution of technical issues to facilitate the seamless transition from the old portal to the new system.
The Director also stressed the need for close coordination between the Directorate, district officers and NIC to expedite the process and minimise inconvenience to beneficiaries.
Deputy Director Administration Raman Joshi; Financial Advisor/Chief Accounts Officer Reena Verma; Deputy Director Planning Mahak Gupta; Assistant Director Schemes Siddharth Dubey, besides TSWOs and other officials from all ten districts of Jammu Division were present on the occasion.
