“The visit of BJP National President Nitin Nabin to Jammu will infuse new energy into the party organisation and further strengthen the BJP’s connect with the people. Every worker must ensure the programme is a grand success through disciplined coordination and active public participation,” said Yudhvir Sethi, MLA Jammu East Constituency and senior BJP leader, while chairing a preparatory meeting of Jammu East Constituency at the Pandit Prem Nath Dogra Bhawan in Kacchi Chawni, on Saturday.
The meeting was attended by BJP District President Jammu Adv Rajesh Gupta, Former Corporator Dr Akshay Sharma, BJP Jammu District spokesperson Raman Sharma, District President BJP Mahila Morcha Jammu District, Savita Anand, BJYM spokesperson Bhanu Partap Singh, President Jammu East Mandal Adarsh Jathiar, President Amphalla East Mandal Swati Sharma, Ajeet Jogi, Karn Sharma along with senior office bearers, morcha representatives, and prominent party activists.
The meeting was addressed by Yudhvir Sethi to review the arrangements for the forthcoming two-day maiden visit of BJP National President Nitin Nabin to Jammu beginning July 6.
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held regarding the reception of the National President, public outreach programmes, organisational meetings, transportation, accommodation, security coordination and mobilisation of party workers from different districts. The leaders directed party functionaries to ensure smooth execution of all scheduled events and make the visit memorable.
Addressing the gathering, Yudhvir Sethi said the National President’s visit reflects the importance the BJP’s central leadership attaches to Jammu and Kashmir. He said the interaction with party workers would motivate the cadre and provide fresh direction for strengthening the organisation at the booth and grassroots levels. He urged workers to reach out to the public and ensure enthusiastic participation in all programmes.
Rajesh Gupta said the visit would provide an opportunity for party workers to directly interact with the national leadership and reaffirm the BJP’s commitment to the development and welfare of Jammu and Kashmir. He appealed to all office-bearers and karyakartas to work in close coordination for the successful conduct of every programme.
Nitin Nabin is scheduled to address a massive public rally in Jammu besides chairing important meetings with the party’s core group, district office-bearers and representatives of various frontal organisations. The visit is expected to focus on strengthening the BJP’s organisational structure, expanding its grassroots network and energising the cadre across the Union Territory ahead of future political programmes.
