BJP Mahila Morcha, Jammu & Kashmir, has emphasized on grassroots outreach and organizational mobilization, to review the Morcha’s activities and chalk out an action-oriented strategy for upcoming programmes during its monthly meeting at the BJP headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
Former Speaker and former Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Nirmal Singh, BJP State General Secretary Gopal Mahajan, and President Mahila Morcha Adv. Neha Mahajan addressed the meeting. Mahila Morcha Prabhari Veenu Khanna, and Seh-Prabhari Shailza Gupta were also present.
During the meeting, a detailed review of the programmes and organizational activities conducted by the Mahila Morcha during the previous month was undertaken. The office-bearers discussed the progress, participation and impact of various programmes and emphasized the need for effective reporting and follow-up at every organizational level.
The meeting also discussed the upcoming programmes and organizational activities, particularly those being organized in connection with the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji under the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan. Detailed discussions were held regarding preparations for public outreach programmes, with emphasis on ensuring maximum participation of women workers and effective implementation up to the grassroots level. Dr. Nirmal Singh appreciated the efforts of Mahila Morcha in strengthening the party organization and reaching out to women at the grassroots level. He emphasized the important role of women workers in taking forward the vision and policies of the BJP and called upon the office-bearers to work with dedication, discipline and a spirit of service. He also stressed the need for greater coordination, regular public contact and effective implementation of organizational programmes at the grassroots level.
Gopal Mahajan was also present on the occasion and shared his views with the members. He stressed the importance of strengthening the organization at the grassroots level and ensuring active participation of Mahila Morcha workers in all party programmes and public outreach initiatives.
Adv. Neha Mahajan called upon the office-bearers to work with greater dedication, coordination and commitment, while maintaining regular contact with women workers and the public. She emphasized that the strength of the Mahila Morcha lies in its active grassroots presence and collective efforts, and urged the office-bearers to make the upcoming programmes marking the Prime Minister’s birthday a grand success across Jammu & Kashmir.
The proceedings of the meeting were conducted by Poonam Gupta, while the vote of thanks was proposed by Geeta Bhagat, State General Secretaries.
